command line option -asx broken? batch looks like this: "path\bsplayer.exe" movie.avi -as2 however, the movie always starts with the first audio stream running... if I then swithc to second stream either by pressing shift+S or by using menu, the second audio stream works OK is this command line broken? full screen switch (-fs) for example works as it should when used this way I'm using BSPlayer 1.37 build 826 |

Have you tried the option in BSplayer Audio settings (CTRL+P -> Audio -> Default audio stream)? Or the playlist option "§Audio stream" (you need to use "old style playlist" under Playlist settings, then in the opened playlist select the loaded movie and in the right panel select the 2nd audio stream)? Otherwise, try to write the commandline like this Code: "path\bsplayer.exe" -as2 movie.avi Code: "path\bsplayer.exe" movie.avi -as2 P.S. Can you also tell us the file type? AVI, OGM, MKV? Codec used to encode it?

Hi, thanks for the reply. Movie is in avi format (gspot calls it 'Multipart OpenDML AVI'), audio codec is AC3. I checked the Audio options but the thing is I just want this movie to start with second audio, since only in this movie audio 1 is russian and audio 2 is english. Most of the movies have either just one audio stream or I would want the first stream as default. I tried the -as2 in front of movie name but in that case movie doesn't start at all. Switching the stream once the movie is running works OK. I can do it either by pressing Shift+S or selecting it from the popup menu. I just thought it could be done directly from command line, so I could just run the movie and watch it. But it doesn't work. As for the plugin, it's not really a solution, since (if I understand correctly) it will always play second audio as default and I just want it for this one movie. Also when I tried it, the correct strem was selected but the sound volume was at 0 each time. :) Thanks anyway, shinca |

If you don't need the russion audio (the first one in this case), you can remove it easily by using VirtualDub Mod. Have you tried to change it through the playlist method I descrbed you? Once you change the default language number in the right side of the playlist, you have to save it to file. Next time you want to play that movie, you'll launch the PLS (playlist) file you created This way if you move BSplayer to another path you'll still be able to start it with the 2nd audio stream. I'll look into your problem and if I can reprodice it I'll add it to the confirmed BUGs post :)

Oops, sorry, I saw now that you are using v1.37 and not 2.xx  You only need to open the Playlist (ALT+E), add the russian+english file to the list, select it, and in the right side of the playlist window you have to select Audio stream 2 Now just save the playlist in the format you prefer and next time start the playlist file instead of the AVI
