Default Keeps repeating same file over and over

Hi everyone!

I've never had this problem till now, and it's really irritating the hell out of me. I want BSplayer to play the next file within the same folder after it finishes with the current one, but it just keeps repeating the same .mp3 file over and over. I don't have the "repeat one" setting on for sure, so I'm not sure what's causing this problem. This began yesterday with the version 1.37.826 that I've had on my computer for awhile. I uninstalled it and put in the latest version and had the same problem. This probably has an easy solution, but I can't figure it out. Any help is greatly appreciated! :)

(rightclick >) Playback > Playback mode > Repeat off.

P.S.:
Depending on the skin used for the controlpanel, you can also cycle through the repeat options by repeatedly clicking on the text indicating repeat-status.

When posting always mention your computer's OS and the version and build number(!) of BS.Player as used by you,
as well as - if applicable and especially when encountering problems - the type(s) of the file(s) mentioned in your post.

I don't have that setting turned on though. I always leave it on Repeat Off or Repeat All, and 2 days ago, it began acting up. I actually installed Winamp though and am having the same problem. I assume something must be wrong with my computer. Could a missing codec or something be causing this?

Thanks for your suggestion though. :)

To play all files, you need to have "repeat all" enabled.
By any chance, do you run Vista or Seven ? ANd two days ago had a system crash and your configuration files are not saved anymore (UAC turned back on) ?

IMHO to repeat all files you have to select "repeat all" (1)
To play all files you simply have to select "repeat off" (2)
(1) "repeat all" will play all files selected and then repeat this playback (of all files).
(2) "repeat off" will play the (one) file or all files selected (in a playlist) once only and will not repeat them.
(3) "repeat one" will play the (one) file being played and then repeat its playback.
