Default Problem with .sub format

Hello,

I am having an issue with .sub format in BSPlayer 2.63 Free. Subtitles in this format won't show up in videos, I checked with other players and it worked. Officially BSPlayer is supposed to support these subtitles so I am guessing the problem is on my side.

I tried to solve it but I run out of ideas.

Are you referring to textbased .sub-file or graphics based .sub-file ?
What is size of the file and/or can you read it using e.g. Notepad?
(The size of text-base subtitle-files usually is about 20-50 kB. If the size of a .sub-file is substantially larger (in MegaBytes as opposed to KiloBytes), it concerns VobSub (DVD) subtitles in a graphic (picture) format).

(You specifically mention .sub, so I assume .srt-subtitles do show.)

Oh. I am not sure. When I open the file in text editor it shows text and some frame numbers, so I guess these are text-based. It has few kilobytes.

.srt works well
