Where can I find file naming guide for subtitle search? I looked everywhere but I didn't find info about this anywhere. I mean how to properly name my video files for the online search to be working? For example I'd like BSplayer to automatically download subtitles for Star Trek The Next Generation episodes. I tried to rename my files all the possible ways I know but none of them works. There are a lot of subtitles on Opensubtitles for this show, but yet BSPlayer doesn't find anything for them. How to rename this show properly? I tried the following renaming methods, but none of them worked: 1: "TV Show title" parent folder → "Season number" child folder → "s01e01" file name 2: "TV Show title (date)" parent folder → "Season number" child folder → "s01e01" file name 3: "TV Show title date s01e01" filename 4: "TV Show title s01e01" filename If none of the above works, then what is the proper file naming and why isn't this described anywhere in the FAQ, neither on this forum? It's a basic thing that we users should know! |
