Default Capture Video to file, why are use descriptions impossible to find?

feature description of BSplayer pro lists:
* Capture Video to file (not screen capture of a single frame)

how do you do that?

why is it impossible to find a basic user manual anywhere?
(i found that queston asked in 2003!)
am i amissing something?

Do you have a tuner or capture device to use for capturing ?
If so, you must have it under "open device"

Though it has nothing to do with "capturing a video", maybe it is worth mentioning that BS.Player's Pro version also let you save YouTube streaming video to local disk.
Is that more in line with what you thought?
