Problem with BS 2.56 and Windows 7

I use BSplayer 2.56 in 2 PCs - one runs XP professional and another (HP laptop) runs W7 starter.
In the XP I can play rm and rmvb files very well, but in W7 it gaves a error and does not play.
I´ve submitted a bug repport.
Any sugestions?
