Default Error: MP4filelib.dll was not found.

Dear friends:
I use Bsplayer pro 2.34.

One day, Bsplayer started to show this mesage:
"error al inciar la aplicación. No se encontró MP4 filelib.dll."

The translation could be:
"Error at the beggining of the aplication. MP4filelib.dll was Not Found."

I have to push enter and then all is ok: Bsplayer play the video very well.

This happens just when I try to open an MP4 file made it in pinnacle ultimate 12.
However, I can open every MP4 in Quick time.

I love Bsplayer and I would like to play my MP4 files with it.

Could you please help me?

I am a novice girl and I do not understand the specialist terminology.
Thanks in advance.

Cheers.

The translation "error starting the aplication, MP4FileLib.dll was not found" it's more accurate. Seems your software ( in some way, part of Mpegable DS software) interfere with the standard MP4 decoder. When you open the file (MP4 or 3GP) can you tell us wich filters are used ?
On some forum it was suggested to dowload this file into windows/system32 folder

QuickTime does not use directshow filters but it's own ones.

Hi adicoto.
Thank you for answering to me.

I can see two filters (in the task bar) named ffdshow when I open the MP4.

You wrote:

What file are you talking about my friend?

Greetings.

MP4FileLib.dll is the file I am talking. It's part of the software named Mpegable DS and probably it's the filter that it's registered to decode MP4 streams. This error it's pretty common and in some cases was solved by downloading / copying this file into windows/system32 folder.
To realy find out witch filters are used, open the file, rightclick-> options -> filters ->advanced and post here the files named to be used.

As I supposed, MP4FileLib.dll it's not used, just registered. Probably, at this moment, the best way is to disable this filter. In BSPlayer's filter management you can disable it (rightclick -> options -> filter management )

Thanks, adicoto.
I really apreciate your time but...
I dont have the option filter management.
Better still: I can not see some filter named fiellib.dll.

Could you please give me another option?

adicoto:
I went to C:\Archivos de programa\Pinnacle\Studio 12\Programs and I saw the .dll MP4filelib.dll.
Then, I took it and copy it to C:\WINDOWS\system32
and...
Voilá!

Bsplayer is not showing any message any more.

Thank you very much my friend.

Greetings from México.
