AC3 filter hi all, help me pleaaaaaase :smile winXP32 AsusHD BSP of course 2.0 sound is ok when playing an ac3 file, the sounds "crashes" (bzrzrzrrzrzrzrzrrzrzrzr) if "use SPDIF" and "AC encoder" are enabled. If disabled, i have 2.0 sound with very low sound (and strange : looks like the rear speaker sound : no voices, almost no music, almost nothing) IT USED TO WORK !! and it seems after i opened a file with vlc it doesn't work anymore, but maybe nothing to see i checked some other post, but didn't find my way... here is my filter : 5.1 pcm16bits useSPDIF enabled normal matrix (1 going down in diagonal) SPDIF options : everything but "restrict" any idea ? now that my post is finished it works again !!! :happyroll:   :cheeky: (after i restarted and enabled/disabled everything a hundred times) but i'm prety sure it's going to crash again, it was not the fist time... THANK YOU |
....and today it happened again ! BUT : - after 5mn playing horrible sound (bzrzrrrzbzrzr) it suddenly worked ! - it doesn't work with all AC3 files : some come 2.0, but used to come 5.1 before.. I will thank the one who could help me till the end of times who's the one ? thx |
Ever read this info? (e.g. 2.5 re "Output SPDIF as PCM") (Just noticed that a new version AC3Filter 1.60b(eta) was released yesterday (17-May-2009) with x64 support) |
thank you so much ! In fact i was watching a movie when you replied, and i noticed the volume and the "msn bip" issues... wich made me think my AVsystem or my motherboard was dead. thx again ! I still have one AC3movie that plays 2.0, but i'm pretty sure i'll find the explanation on your link. I should come to amsterdam in 3 weeks, i'd be glad to get you a drink (joint ?:happyroll:) thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouth ankyouthankyou |

Nope, I'm a typo-creator (2008 should have been 2009 of course; otherwise "yesterday" should have been "yesterday a year ago"). [Edited my post; thx] |
