How can I get BSPlayer to stream from Synology?
 

I've got SMB shares to my Synology DiskStation currently so I know that's working. I've got DNLA open as well with the Firewall app.

Still, when I select "Lan mode" in BSPlayer and enter the URL and signon/password, BSPlayer reports it is getting a "File List" but nothing ever happens.

What are the specifics to getting BSPlayer connected with Synology?

May not help but for what it's worth I have the following for a QNAP NAS

Server IP/name: 192.168.1.10/My Media/Video/
Username: User
Password: Password

Under the 'Video' folder there are many other folders with videos and BSPlayer for Android finds them all without any problems.

I would suggest the config is the same regardless of which NAS is being used and falls under the constraints of SMB.

Okay, I had to use LAN mode browse to files on my DS211+, but now I use MediaHouse Pro as the DLNA browser/front end and get BS to play the files...

Works seamlessly..
