Stuck on opening

Got bs player lite for my Kindle Fire, added one of my NAS and it browses fine, but as soon as i open a file it just says opening till it crashes, i tried this with an mkv, avid and even a small 20mb file. why isn't it streaming anything

Same problem here...

Can browse my NAS just fine from my Samsung Galaxy S4, but whenever I try opening a file and sending it to Chromecast I get the "Error opening file" error..

Anyone have some tips on resolving this?
