M3u8 support issues
 

Hi, on bsPlayer for Android I cannot play m3u8 UrL streams from "Open URL" button, it says "0 files added to playlist" and doesn't play anything; but, if i paste URL stream on android browser and select play with: bsplayer, it works.
Last update disabled that "trick" and i'm unable to play m3u8 streams.

Any Idea? :confused::confused:

I have exactly the same problem with last BSPlayer updates. :sad:
My Android device is a Asus TF101 with 4.0.3 OS.

Olds versions was working very well with m3u8 links.

Should be fixed in latest version, try it.

I have tried BSPlayer v1.5 Build 135 (which is the last from the Play Market) and it does not work. I have also tried the BSPlayer Free (I actually just bought the paid version to see if there are any differences).
It just says "0 files added to playlist".

The stream is coming from a mythtv system. The stream does open correctly in MX Player (but it does not play very well). Reports in other threads indicate that it was working find with earlier versions and that it broke during an upgrade...

Just upgraded to Build 136 - same problem.

Using BSPlayer 1.6.143 and it works on some m3u8 stream files but it doesn't work on other m3u8 files.

Typing the back button 3 times to quit BSPlayer is also annoying :(
