v1.4 131 blocks on rtsp streams

I've been using bsplayer to monitor my home security camera video over rtsp. Which worked fine until version v1.4 131. Now the stream opens, and you maybe get to see one frame or a partial frame with blocks and then the playback stops and the message "Error while opening play.sdp. Trying in software mode" appears. Same problem then happens in software mode. RTSP playback is just broken for me now.

This used to work just fine until build 1.4 131. It's not a problem with my rtsp stream because other players (like vlc / vlc for android) work just fine. But I prefer to use bsplayer. Please fix! ;) I'm using the paid version from the market.

I just learned about the "High performance wifi mode"-option by browsing the forum. I enabled it and rtsp playback works again. I'm not sure why I have to enable this to get playback from rtsp streams at all, but anyway it's working again for me. Enabling/disabling network pre buffering had no effect on rtsp playback.

I am having the same issue. Essentially I am trying to play the following stream:

rtsp://184.175.49.3:82/CH002.sdp

I have tried the high performance wifi mode but it still doesn't work. I know the stream works because it plays fine in VLC media player on both PC and android. Tried from multiple computers at different locations.

Any ideas what might be wrong?

Thank you

rtsp under what conditions?

Despite"high performance wifi", BSP does not open this link created by the station to be used by android devices:
rtsp://rtspgen.api.core-cdn.net/10177xwdrsw04/sw04_ww_webm

Under what conditions are rtsp streams played?

High performance wifi should not have any influence on playback on rtsp streams.

ATM, both rtsp streams are unplayable, from anywhere.
