Ogg audio and ID Tags BS.player for Android v1.5 Build 135 Nexus 7 Android 4.1.1 Build JR003D Hi. I use ogg for my music library but I've spotted a couple of issues so far: 1. A media scan doesn't add ogg files to the library - only the few mp3 files I've got are added. I can browse to play but not via the library menu. 2. The ID tags which contain the real song title and album art don't seem to be being read. This means that when playing a song the embedded cover art is missing. The ID tags were added using Easytag on Ubuntu 12.04 and the inbuilt Nexus7 android player reads them fine. Am I doing something wrong as ogg is supposed to be a supported format? Thanks Porygon. |
Ogg format is supported. Check in preferences if .ogg is added to the supported extensions list. ID tags will be implemented in future builds. |
Thanks for the feedback :smile Will keep checking for future updates re ID tag support. Porygon. |
