Fail to seek forward having issues with bsplayer skipping forward(or seeking). everytime I swipe or click on the duration bar to skip ahead it doesn't go forward. Max it would go is 10 seconds and this is very buggy as well. I checked seek duration option and it's set at 90seconds but max seeking right now is 10 sec.. Using it on nexus 7 Read somewhere bsplayer had issues seeking forward for files over 2gb... and was told this issue does not exist anymore or Am i wrong? file is just over 2gb. dts format |
Exactly the same problem. When touching the seek bar at around 90% I get shifted to 0:0:10 or something. Swiping forward mid screen while I'm at 0:05 wants to start at 0:0:02. Jumping to 0:40:00 gets me to 00:22... Nexus 7, Android 4.2 (stock) File: matroska, webm@23.976fps h264, 1280x720 audio: dca, 48000Hz, 6ch filesize: 2235MB |
We can't replicate this on Nexus 7. What happens if you try to playback the same file from locally, from SD card? |
Same problem. Asus Transformer TF700 The problem appeared after last update. Seek doesn't work while playing large files - around 10Gb, .mkv format (there were no problems with full hd before). |
Same problem here, also on an Asus Transformer Infinity (TF700T), running stock Jelly Bean firmware. Used to work OK, now it does not. I'm having the problem on any MKV file over 2GB, even e.g. 2.1GB. Other observations: I can incrementally (with gestures) mostly seek forwards and backwards, though it doesn't work as smoothly as normal. Until, that is, the playback position gets past the 2GB mark. Then seeks in either direction often cause BSPlayer to think the playback is over and exit back to the file list. |
