minimize pop-up?

Hi, I really love the BSPlayer for Android - best playback on my One X.

I bought a MHL-cable and with that cable the pop-up is incredible (fullscreen video on tv, normal homescreen etc on my phone). But is it possible to minimize the pop-up, that I can still watch the video on the tv, but also use the full display of my phone?
