How to setup BS Player LAN MODE
 

Hi,

I'm trying to setup BSPlayer in LAN mode to access my files on my different computers with my Wifi.

The problem is : I can't ! Pretty simple.

When BSPlayer is asking me about my IP adress and my PC information, I enter my IP, my DisplayName (don't know what it is..), and the user name of my computer. But I don't have any password for my PC so en leave this field blank.

My firewall is disabled, and other application can access my pc via my wifi (like my grooveshark remote, or my UnifiedRemote application)

Any advice ?

Simply Share entire drive or folder from Windows, then go to BSPlayer for Android, Lan mode> Add server> Scan and it will find all available shared drives.
Then just enter Windows username and password and you can start watching!

Also you can create a playlist of network drive for faster access later on. Long tap on folder/drive and select Create New playlist.

If I don't have any password ?

Usually, a windows computer can't be remotely accesed unless you have an account with password.

Error Message: Unable to Log You on Because of an Account Restriction

I hope you can understand the risks of sharing informations from a computer without password.
