Bs Player + Cyanogenmod Hello Bs player developers and users! I have a Galaxy S3 which I had stock firmware installed and BS Player always worked perfectly. Now that I've installed cyanogenmod 10.1.3 RC2 I'm able to play videos stored on the phone memory and sdcard (a bit unstable BTW) but not from a SMB location. Any clues? Cyanogenmod makes my phone run so much better so I really don't want to go back to stock but I wish I could run Bs Player on this firmware. VLC and Mx Player (streaming with es explorer) work just fine. Any clues? |
SMB issues and cyanogenmod should not be related. About the instability, try alternative decoding mode. Is username and password for SMB 100% correct? |
Just double checked smb user and login. Same results. It only says "added X files to the queue" and nothing else happens. I've tried software mode, bs player engine mode and system player mode. The render window won't open. Stability improved using alternate on local access. |
Hello guys, just to update the thread: I've installed Cyanogenmod on my Tab 2 also and I'm also unable to use Bs Player. If there are any way to fix this I would be very interested...:teeth: |
Howdy! An update: Seems it was cyanogenmod's fault. Updating to the latest (10.1.3 final) version fixed bs player not playing from SMB. Alas, one or more audio codecs doesn't seem to work. I get no audio on some videos. Seems to be a codec problem. |
