HW on MT6589

Hi. Is it possible to turn on hw-mode in mt6589? Only sw available on Lenovo P780(android 4.2.1).

same issue on Zopo ZP990 stockrom 4.2.1 rooted ..

any ideas when you can fix that ?

Alternative HW mode should work on all 4.1+ Androids.

On AMOI A920W (MTK6589T, PoverVR SGX544, Android 4.2.1 rooted) any video is played only in SW mode. No HW with any settings and no HW in alternative HW mode :(

Apparently, this is not the case. I'm running Android 4.2.2 on a Mediatek MT 6592 CPU, and both modes (normal and alternative modes) does not enable HW decoding on generic H.264 videos. Other media players (MX Player and the built in video player) allows HW mode on the same platform.
