It doesn't say on the website about the Android player that HEVC (X265) is supported.

Also from my understanding is that with x265 that the trade off is that you get higher quality picture at much smaller file sizes but that you need a more powerful CPU to play these files back.

So even if the player does support X265 your device might not be able to play it back.
