Intent to play smb video links

I've found out that it is now possible to play smb:// video links using BsPlayer. It also works for shares that need user authorisation if the share and the user/password is configured in BsPlayer. But in this case the application has to be manually started first and the share must be connected. Would it be possible to extend the BsPlayer app so that the share is connected automatically if an smb video intent is received and the share is configured in the app?
