HTC One M8 Android 5.0.1 No Video

Today my HTC One M8 received lollipop 5.0.1 and since then no videos will play. On opening a video it launches and then closes. I have reset to default preferences and cleaned the database, etc but this has not helped.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Found the solution... In preferences, playback preferences, decoding mode and set to Hardware Decoding Mode (BSPlayer engine v2):teeth:
