BUG Shuffle while in background Shuffle playback of a playlist from a CIFS share (smbd 4.1.6) doesn't work while the player is in the background, which includes locked screen. The player either crashes or just keeps repeating the same file. I can only assume its a playlist/caching issue because usually the first title after its been put into background works (A > B > B > B ....). I've seen people in the play store complain that it only happens on random+repeat-all, for me any combination of random+x bugs out. Android Versions: 4.3, 4.4 BS-Player Version: 1.23 Build 179 |
Just wanted to add that I am experiencing the same issue with background playback of an M3U playlist on both a CIFS share and in a local directory. Samsung Galaxy SII running Android 4.4.4 (OmniROM) BS Player 1.24.182 |
BUG in background SHUFFLE. Would like to bring this back to the notice of the programmers. I am on a LG G6 - the LG-H870K running Android 7 BSplayer Free for Android v.1.29 Build 194. shuffle will always repeat the current file, be it on local or a share from my LAN, once the screen has been turned off. This is am issue from years ago, as I usually find an old version and download as I know it works. Some where around v1.09 and it stopped. PLEASE FIX. Thanks |
I've had this issue for over 3 years and nobody has ever bothered to fix it. |
