How to force Android to use BSplayer for MP3?
 

BSplayer is registering to play filetypes like MKV MP4 AVI just fine - but Android 4.2.1 doesn't show BSplayer as a player for MP3 files, when selected in the same way.

What would cause this?

Maybe more information is needed?

Another media player using the exact same setup plays those filetypes and the MP3.

Why would this happen with BSplayer, as BSplayer worked in the past to play MP3 files.
There are different Smart TV's that this has been tested on.

This is of no consequence for authors, but I wish to use this for a disabled man.
MXplayer is the other player I mentioned, but it is not as good for the capabilities of person using it.
