plugin window not "in front of"

Version post 0.84 modify the way the plug-in window appears.
Past v0.84 it appeared in back of playing window, after v0.84 it is appearing in front of playing window!? And this enven in full screen!

So it has just become impossible to have a plugin window opened.

This is a problem to me as I use the winamp "enhancer" plugin, to adjust bass, treble... which I commonly do while a movie is being played.
I can hide the plugin window, but then I can't change anything more and it also affect winamp and to restore it you have to look into the preferences...

Isn't it possible to go back the old way, when the plugin window appeared at the back?
