Subtitle size according to movie resolution Hi guys, I would like to request in the subtitle font configuration a initial value for different movies resolutions. Currently, if subtitle initial size is set to 22 it is good for a standard avi file (for instance TV series with 350MB / 40 minutes movies). If you start playing a movie with a resolution of 720p then sutitle size is a little bit smaller so you have to increase the sub sze a little bit. If you are going to play a 1080 movie then subtitle with initial size of 22 is very much small. In this case you have to increase the size to 40 ~ 44. To solve this annoying configuration I suggest that configuration panel has 3 initial values: one for standard avi's movies, a second initial value for 720 resolution movies and a third value for 1080 movies. Of course BSPlayer should detect the movie resolution at the begining of the playing to choose the correct subtitle size. Greetings, samurai_kid |
Are you using "Resize OSD and subtitle font automatically" under (rightclick >) Options > Preferences > Subtitles [Subtitle properties] ? (It automatically resizes font depending on playback resolution) |
