DirectVobSub Plugin Could someone please create a plugin for BSPlayer that could set hotkeys for subtitle timing in DirectVobSub, because when the subtitles are filtered with DirectVobSub, I can't use the normal BSPlayer hotkeys to control the subtitles' timing(or any hotkey in BSPlayer that should have any effect on subtitles, for that matter). For example: there's this plugin in the following post that allows to hiding/showing subtitles that use DirectVobSub, using defined hotkeys: http://forum.bsplayer.com/general-ta...html#post26986 So, is there a way to make this possible? Waiting for a response. Thanks:wink: |
Referring also to your previous posts: http://forum.bsplayer.com/general-ta...html#post43284 http://forum.bsplayer.com/subtitles/...html#post48137 is there any special reason to use DirectVobSub for ASS/SSA subtitles? I ask this as - in as far as I know - BS.Player has native (inbuilt) support for Sub Station Alpha subtitles (although maybe not to the fullest extent). What happens if you disable VobSub support? (resp. "Allow intermediate filters")? |
VobSub has full support of ASS/SSA subs. The new BSPlayer subtitles render, when enabled, does the trick and manges to get the attributes of most ASS/SSA subs working well, but there are still some subtitle files that the new render, for some reason, won't be enough to get them working and using VobSub makes it work perfectly. |
