Prologic decoding from movies with mp3 audio

Is there a way to use PowerDVD's (or WinDVD) ProLogic decoder to play mp3 audio in 5.1 surround? Basicly I can play any pro logic encoded mp3 files in on PowerDVD and it separates the channels ok, but it sucks for playing divx movies. On the other hand in BS player I can choose which program to decode AC3 audio (InterVideo or PowerDVD), but I can't choose which one to handle mp3 audio. Please let me know if there is something that can be done.
