WinLIRC: Make hold of seek forward/reverse buttons work

I use WinLIRC in conjuction with BSplayer and this works great! Except for one thing: seeking forward/backward through a movie is a drag. You can't keep the buttons for seeking pressed on the remote (like on the keyboard) to "keep" seeking, instead one must press the seek button over and over again. Could you please fix/change this behaviour?
