bsplay.sav - saving default parameters I'm having problems when opening files saved in bsplay.sav, everytime I get the error overlay failed and the movie displays in a tiny window with a strange aspect ratio can it be fixed? And another thing I would like to save are the subtitle's parameters (font, size and color) because everytime I load a subtitle file it displays in small black and black font. Also I would like to ask to make there parameters be saved in a default file for when opening new files. My sistem is Win2000 1152x864 bsplayer 0.86 500 thanks bs |
Please have a look at "Options"/"Preferences"/"Subtitles" (and while you're at it, also check the settings on the "Video"-tab and have a look at "Options"/"Preferences"/"General"/"Remember movie settings") I suppose you already know how to change font/size/colour of subtitles (rightclick on videowindow ... subtitles ... etc)? |
Thanks! Thanks. I'm still having the overlai failed error message but the movie loads ok. Anyway, if it could be solved... Another comment: If I have any file open in the player I always get the following error when selecting the options menu item: --- BSPlayer v0.86.500, Unhandled exception at EIP: 1C4036A7 If you click 'Close' application will be terminated. Have you tried deselecting (unchecking) "Use overlay ..." Re error-message: You probably have DivX5.1 installed? |
Problem re. DivX 5.1 should be solved in last nightly version 501. You already have build 500, so it's just an upgrade as follows: Just place (or directly unzip) the two substituting files and one additional file of build 501 http://www.bsplayer.org/dlfile.php?fname=bsplay.zip in BSPlayer's existing installation directory (overwriting/replacing the existing files). Edited: just forget about the additional file, it appears to be no longer included!) |
