"Gapless" video playback I was wondering if it's possible to not recreate the playback stream everytime a new video loads This is very annoying while recording video since the TV-Out re-initiate every time a new video is loaded (nVidia full screen device) The TV "flash" back to the desktop then goes back to the next video, seems to be "changing resolution" while this happens... With WinDVD, playing multiple files doesn't re-initiate the TV-Out, making it "gapless" Thanks for your time reading! 8) - Daijoubu |
That would be a really good feature when watching multi-CD AVI's from the hard drive or DVD-R's, or when you have several CD's in the drives at once. That way, it doesn't interrupt the movie experience at all. What I have done, is that multi-CD AVI's are automatically put into the BS playlist, that way I don't have to change CD's manually. Now, if you guys would make playback gapless, that would let you completely forget that you're watching movies from a computer :) Of course, that's only a cosmetic change, but it would still be appreciated! Great work on the player so far! Thanks, guys! |
