auto-codec download??
 

please excuse the 'newb' but...

I have searched for likely subjects, but cant see...

If a video requires a new codec in MSmediaplayer2 (win98se) it will just download it - how would I enable this for bsplayer etc??

or could I manually install the right codec??

I have the klite pack (with BSplayer [version 1.00.808] & Media Player Classic [version 6.4.8.2] )

the search seems basic, it could do with an advanced mode..
also it seems to search 'whole words' - 'wmv -websites' gets less than 'wmv -website' - subtle difference!!

surely there must be *someone* talking about plugins....
