File Type Description ("BSPlayer File" is not enou Please ... Change file type description from "BSplayer file" in Explorer to "BSplayer <FILE_TYPE> file". Example (assume files are in the same dir): Code: file name current dexc requested descr Thanks, bye |
I agree. It would be a nice feature. |
1 Attachment(s) It is not easy, but it can be done manually. If you are interested in doing that, here it goes: Open explorer. Go to tools->folder options Select File types Scroll to the extension you want to change, avi for example. Click on it and on the lower part of the window the Advanced button became active. Click on it. In the upper textbox it is writen the description youwant to change. Change it, according to your desire. I use the descriptions "BSPro AVI File" for example. After modifying the extension, press OK. Do the same with every extension and when finished, press the OK again. Voila ! |
Yeap, I agree with iradic. Quote:
Anyway, I think user could be able to customize the display of file types. E.g, there could be some "radio chek boxes" (or whatever they're called), so, in the prefs windows, I could choose from various styles like "[file ext.] File" (like "AVI File") and "BSplayer file" and maybe others, user defined. And of course, they should be translateable into other langs besides English. |
