Filename in OSD ? Hi I've been looking through the forum but I didn't find any useable info on this: Is it possible / or planned that the filename is displayed for a few seconds in the OSD upon the start of a new file Thanks, Mike |
Have a look at this post (at the top) by bst (who is the maker/creator of BSPlayer), concerning the intended changes with respect to BSPlayer's 'Show movie time' function (keypress [I]) http://members.home.nl/van.raak/wink.gif |
Until the next version comes around I have compiled a small plugin (based upon the sample in the SDK directory), which might just fit your needs. I sugest you give it a try and let me know how it works out for you. Just download it over here : http://users.skynet.be/RafkeP/downloads/Name_plugin.dll and place it in the BSplayer plugin directory. I gave it a quick test with v1.02 Build 812 and it worked for me, but it's something I put together in a couple of minutes so there might be some bugs left. Enjoy, Rafke P. |
@RafkeP: Thanks, seems to work great. @BSPeter: Thanks for the link. Mike |
Glad to be of service :D You will notice that everytime you press play, the filename will show with the complete path. Some people asked me to change that, so I made 2 other versions. Version 2 : The complete path and only when you open the file http://users.skynet.be/RafkeP/downlo..._plugin_v2.dll Version 3 : Only the filename and only when you open the file http://users.skynet.be/RafkeP/downlo..._plugin_v3.dll You can try them all and keep the one you like. Remember to delete or rename the others when you change version (i think they won't really work together). Rafke |
Since there was a problem for the pro users, I made a new version: http://users.skynet.be/RafkeP/downlo..._Plugin_V5.dll It will display only the filename when you open a file. What happened to V4 ? I don't know. I felt like making a V5. More about the bug in the other version is over here: http://forum.bsplayer.org/viewtopic.php?t=6492 Thanks Tizio for reporting. Rafke P. |
