Disable volume control

Can there be a disable volume control(or enable volume control toggle) option like the one in Winamp's out_ds.dll?

BSplayer sets my Wave volume to 100% all the time.
Setting BS to 50% sets my Wave volume to 15%

Also setting BS Player to mute turns the Wave Volume to 0% - And when closing BS PLayer the value isn't recovered. Not nice.
