About BSPlayer BSPlayer is very good program. Thank you folks for it! I use also Winamp 5 to audio player (It's simplier and better for it, but in video files it does not shine), so i only need this new option to BSPlayer install file: Set only Video filetypes for BSPlayer. In current installer, i can only set "Set all filetypes for BSPlayer", and it is too much to me... Can you you add also this feature to future install package? |
You can set filetypes to be associated with BSPlayer after its installation: (rightclick >) Options > Preferences > General > Filetypes  |
Yes, yes... But i don't know what all those filetypes are (and i don't want to go every time set them when new extession come my way), so i hope simplier way to do it... PLEASE! You know what all them are... but i don't know. I should re-set them every time i install new BSPlayer version and other program goes to get any of them. |
So i notice: no any hope about this feature. :-( How about associated file types backup feature, like in TUGZip? |
In the "File types" section in Preferences window (CTRL+P) check the option "Register extensions at player start". This should associates the desired extensions to BSplayer whenever you start BSplayer. If you reinstall BSplayer, maybe overwrite the BSplayer.USER_NAME.xml file (which is present in the BSplayer installation directory) with the one you backed up before uninstalling it (in that file are saved the extensions associated to BSplayer). The main extensions for video files are: MPG MPEG AVI M2V ASF ASX WMV DIVX MKV OGM 3GP 3GPP RM RAM ... Bye  |
