I have exactly the same problem with Matroska files which have embedded .srt subtitles. I'm using Matroska Pack Lite v1.1.1. Please, can a moderator move this thread to the bug reports section? |
Bsplayer 1.35.823 doesn't work correctly with Haali splitter ! If you want you can use Gabest splitter http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...ckage_id=84361 Download the last version (unicode for xp) and put it in C:\Program Files\Matroska Pack\haali\ With the filter management unregister splitter.ax and register MatroskaSplitter.ax You can also do it in consol mode regsvr32 /u splitter.ax regsvr32 MatroskaSplitter.ax |
I rather use Haali's splitter. Weird thing is that the changelog of 1.35.823 mentioned improved compatibility with Haali's splitter. I don't understand why BSplayer needs to be made compatible (apart from advanced graph building). Haali's splitter works fine even with the old WMP 6.4. I tried the mp4 file with Nero's splitter instead of Haali's. The file plays, but without subs. |
I tried with MatroskaSplitter 1.0.2.6 and I can now play movies with embedded .srt subtitles. :) Thanks for the support! |
1.36.825 still crashes on (some) embedded subs when subs are disabled in the options (see first post for example files). If subs are enabled, then it works ok. The internal overlay renderer is buggy too. Some vids won't play at all, others are upside down. Haali splitter icon doesn't close automatically after closing BSplayer. I need to hover over it for it to disappear. |
I also tried everything (different versions, splitters...) no way to look at matroska files with embedded subtitles... New ideas? Thx! |
Re: 1.35.823 crashes on embedded subtitles Quote:
I can watch any correct mkv files with other players and with this solution in BSPlayer too. Regarding this problem I would mention that I use Haali splitter, VSFiler (and ffdshow along with some other filters). |
