player remembers where you stop I'd like it if the player remembered where I stopped watching a video file the last time, like many dvd players and programs now. So if I quit an AVI file at 15 minutes, then return to it a week later, the player would start it again at 15 minutes. |
(rightclick >) Options > Preferences > General select "Remember last movie position". (Note: do not use "stop" if you wish this function to work; instead use "close file" and/or "exit player") Alternatively you can use bookmarks. |
Hmm on mine, the option is "Don't remember", and it is already unchecked, but when I click on an AVI file, it starts at the beginning, why is that? |
You're probably referring to: "Don't remember movie window position" under Video-preferences whereas I'm referring to the "General setting" under General-preferences "Remember last movie position! |
Ah, may I suggest to the developers that this is confusing? Thank you for helping me with that, my enjoyment of this fine player has just increased greatly. |
