how to watch mkv files Hi! How can I watch mkv files? need I some codec or something else? thanks :D |
You can download Matroska Splitter from here (download the Matroska Pack Lite which is the only one needed by you and it's smaller than the Full one  ) |
This pack contains Haali media splitter, wich seems to create some problems with BSPlayer. I don't recomend it. Try this instead: http://forum.bsplayer.org/viewtopic.php?t=3042 http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...ease_id=208995 |
Thank you!!!! :D |
Thanks Adicoto Thank you adicoto!!! |
May I ask where to put those two .ax file [provided by adicoto]? Thanks. |
You put them anywhere you want, for example next to your other software apps. – D:\apps\codecs\ Then, use this path to register the *.ax files Quote:

Re: how to watch all media files Uninstall all previous codecs and packs. Download Matroska Splitter (Haali Media Splitter) and ffdshow filter from here: http://x264.nl/ and install them. In ffdshow uncheck MP1, MP2, MP3 and LPCM, and leave remaining options at their default. For S/PDIF choose it later in Audio decoder configuration. Watch your content with BSP or WMP. N.B. Don't use Gabest splitter, because it is old and doesn't support newer MKV files. Haali media splitter, though creates some problems with BSP, but it's a bug in BSP. You can always switch to WMP on problematic files. |
