independent volume control hi. if this subject has been covered somewhere before, forgive me. really the only problem i have with bsplayer is that whenever i change the volume level during video playback it changes the global volume for wave audio output. this means, that if i play a certain video clip at a 100% volume intensity, every other program that uses audio will play at 100%. to resolve this, i have to go to audio mixer and set the wave volume to my prefered level. and this sucks. volume control in bsplayer should be independent of any other volume slider, switch etc. within windows environment. winamp does this well, but i don't use it for video playback. thanks. and if anyone has any suggestions, i'd appreciate the effort. |
http://forum.bsplayer.org/viewtopic.php?t=7044 As other device maybe try to use "Default DirectSound Device" (the one used by Winamp on your system..I think) |
tizio! you're the man! i didn't know exactly what you meant at first, but i checked that other post you provided the link to. you were right. i pressed ctrl+p (the location can also be found through: options>preferences>audio) and changed the output device to Default DirectSound Device. problem solved. thanks. |
