I think that something can be done, but it's hard to do something without owning the keyboard myself :?

It surely can be done, but I suggest you to ask for a BSplayer mod on specific G15 forums (there are at least 3 important development forums totally dedicated to Logitech G series where you can make requests)
And if you'll get a positive answer (=working mod) then please post here a link to it, so that other BSplayer users/G15 owners will be able to use it too :)
