[2.16] Vista x64
 

When launching BSPlayer 2.16, I have to keep asking the OS to allow it, and it's starting to get on my nervs. BSPlayer is one of the FEW applications that haven't become 100% Vista compatable.

All the other applications I use don't annoy me like this, and that includes:
AnyDVD
CloneCD
PerfectDisk
Ventrilo
World of Warcraft
QuickTime (Yes, even Apple is compliant.)
PowerDVD v7.0 Deluxe

Why is it taking so long for BSPlayer to simply not require clicking "allow?"

What is exactly asking you ? To allow to connect to internet ? DO you use the "free" version ? The one with adware ?
I am asking thet because I am also running under VIsta with no such problems.
