buffering for All kind of video files

I use crystal player and this feature is the best thing to avoid frameskip!!

Currently I know that buffering is supported for some formats like avi.

Plz add support to rest of popular formats.. like wmv, mkv, flv, etc etc..

Many people that uses videoplayers suffer of these frames skipped.. and the playback buffer is the solution

Options -> preferences -> general -> network buffer: enable buffering and check all the media supported there.
Options -> preferences -> video -> video rendering: try not to skip frames.

Plz How can I enable support for WMV and FLV?

Buffering currently works ok for Avi, mpg, mkv.. but I need support for these WMV that contains VC-1 data (buffer status says: N/A)

So we talk about HD media content. I am not sure if VC1 buffering i't's supported at this time, but I have no problems with them using default settings for BSplayer (no buffer). Can you give us some details about your CPU and video card ?

GF7300 and Intel Q9550

I use these videos playing along Avisynth scripts (via ffdshow) that require intensive CPU usage.

I have enough CPU but I notice that I get better performance when playback buffer is enabled

I see.

I don't know if there is something you can do at the moment.
