dvd *.bup's *.vob's

Read somewhere that for the free version to play dvd one must put the vob's in a playlist but what about the bup's ? What do the *.bup's mean ?
On one cd it did play the vob's but on another one of the vob's said the player was incompatible with the region or something like that and the other vob's just came up with error and if went ahead and ignored they were just black screen in bs player. How do i get them to play and not say '...player was incompatible with the region..' and not error nor black?

bup means backup.
Only the VOBs need to be in a playlist in Free version.

Incompatible with the region: DVDs have a region coding.
So you e.g. need DVD decrypter.

All this: not really BS.Player stuff.
You can easily Google for it and find quicker and more complete answers!
