BSplayer & Windows 7

Hi all,

I installed Windows 7 64 bit (N edition - with no windows media player).

I installed BSPLAYER 2.43.
Every time i am trying to play a movie i get the following error:

"Enhanced Video Renderer (EVR) is not available on this system.
make sure you have Directx 9+ installed and latest video drivers"

Windows 7 is coming with directx 11 and i did install the most update video driver.

What could be the problem?

Thank you very much
Amir

Windows 7 Problem

I have quite the same problem ai Tizio, but with some differences, so I choosed to post here, not to start a new thread. Every time I open BSPlayer v2.5 Build 1013 on my Windows 7 x 64 OS, I get to be answered if to search for new update even if I marked not the check that on start-up. Before a movie starts playing I get this error: "Overlay is not compatible with Aero. Switching to EVR Rnderer. You can still switch manually to overlay rendering (under Options-> Preferences-> Video-> Video rendering tab)". I chnaged that option, but it still appears. Another problem is that the subtitle fonts aren't remembered. I mean I have to change the size and script of the subtitle eveytime whe I play a movie. The alst one is that it starts with a 74% volume sound, and the window movie size it's big. I mean it doesen't remember my prefernces, options and I don't know why. Thak you

UAC it's not disabled. Preferences are not saved because you don't have the rights to write onto that files. You are not an administrator on your computer.
