How can I install BS player?

i already had 2.52 version (free) and downloaded 2.53. how can i install it? overwrite or uninstall 2.52 then install 2.53?
thanks

Overwrite is ok, so you can keep your preferences.

i did, but bs player still shows 2.52 version.
when i go to "about" and click on check for new version can't open a site. can't open a forum site, anything.
in revo shows 2.52 version either.

i had to uninstall it and install it again. what should i do in the future? change bs player for something better or after every new version uninstall previous one?

Unde 2.52 versions there are many builds: 1023 -> 1031.
Which build are you using ?

so i guess your advice is hit next all the time when new version shows up? i experienced some difficulties with that way of installation, but you should be right, uninstall old and install of new version isn't an option...

translate that for me will you? what does that mean? i'm infected?
when i open bsplayer it shows 2.52 in left upper corner, when i click on menu, about bsplayer, it shows 2.53.

where is the problem? i scan my laptop regulary, so far no viruses, no spyware as well. no problem in any function whatsoever.

BSPeter 20th April 2010 06:21 PM

a :bug: simply means an error/fault in the programming of the application=BS.Player (which needs to be repaired=fixed by the maker).

ok, thanks for the explanation.
i'm not infected that is the most important.
