Chapter confusion Newbie ?'s follow: I've used BSPlayer for awhile but never made my own DivX files. Now that I am doing that, I've searched this forum on how to setup custom .BSI files, chapter files, etc, and am a little confused. Is there a FAQ somewhere? What's the best method/program to use? Chapmaker, Chapter Extractor? Seprate chapter files, or use a BSI file? At a minimum I would like to choose the chapter number from amenu, but if its possible to include pictures, etc, that would be even better. Thanks, Robert |
use only bsi file, using also an external chf file will mess it up. if you want images, use chapmaker (it will produce a cbf file with the images) I think it includes chapter extractor's features now but I'm not sure, I have not yet tested latest version I'd like to be exhaustive on this topic but I can't seem to find time these days, sorry |
I think it's better to use bsi file, because it handles everything (chapters, subtitle, movie title, movie on multiple cds) If you had the original IFO from the DVD, it should be very easy with chapmaker. I hope there's no more major bugs... Always try, after you've done your chapter file, to launch your movie (the chapters files must have the same name as your movie (except the extension), and must be in the same dir, the it will be auto loaded. When you see it works (using Ctrl+V), you can create your bsi file. you can try to use inimaker to create your bsi file you can find a tutorial and some explanations on chapter at http://www.ifrance.com/kpage/pages/e...apmaker_en.htm Hope it helps, Matimott If you find bugs, report it. |
