is there a file that holds all the settings?
 
I was wondering if there is one file in the webteh folder that holds the personalized settings made by a user. thank you

In user's folder you will find several such files. BSPlayer.xml for general settings, EQ.xml with equalizer's ones, bspml.xml for the media library.....and so on

where exactly is the "user's folder"? thank you

I did find bsplayer.xml and it has 0 bytes. It was in folder "insfiles".

In windows7 for example is located in users / yourname / appdata / roaming / BSPlayer (PRO)
In Windows XP should be in C:\Documents and Settings\[YourName]\Application Data\BSplayer (Pro)

Note the file may also be in BS.Player's installation folder (if you opted for that possibility when you installed BS.Player).
