some questions Is Bsplayer freeware? Where i can get subs? And can subs be saved in *.avi file and if thats possible.. what program you need? Big thx for all who can help. :?:   |
- Yes, BSplayer is freeware (thanks BST ! :D ) - ??? - subs can be muxed using the new OGM container, not the AVI one! - To mux or read OGM files, you'll need to download OGM DSF v0.995 , Website here |

textstreams ARE supported by the AVI container. I believe they are less efficient than OGM subtitles streams (dunno what's that supposed to mean, but I read it somewhere I think ;)) but they're still usable. AFAIK, only submux makes use of these textstreams. Then you need DirectVobSub to display the subs. (submux is distributed along with vobsub) And bsplayer needs to be used in overlay mode 2 for this to work. from my (short) experience, it works fine; but I'm not a big fan of this kind of solution, be it with avis or ogms |
where to find subs you can find subs at: http://divx.zemeilleur.com ( it's a french site ) http://www.divxsubtitles.com ( has a lot of pop-ups ) |
