sbs movie subtitles

Hi there
I am new to the site and I do not know much about how to place an ad on the forum,
I have a little problem about the three-dimensional movies subtitles
Can you help me?

adicoto 12th December 2011 01:27 PM

What's the problem about ?

Yossi-M 12th December 2011 11:34 PM

To see a movie in SBS format I make the subtitles on software called 3D subtitle and she splits actually the subtitles according to a movie
VLC software knows that decode the file and run it on film
And BS PLAYER can not do it
I really prefer to watch movies only with BS
I love it is a very friendly and very high quality software
I use it many, many years
Is there a solution to this problem?

When converting the srt-subtitles using 3DSubtitler.exe, do you select Vobsub idx/sub as output?
If so: is VobSub support enabled in BS.Player?
(rightclick >) Options > Preferences > Subtitles > [VobSub]
Also: is "Allow intermediate filters" (and "Enable advanced graph building") selected under
(rightclick >) Options > Preferences > Filter management [General] ?

First of all thank you for your support
And secondly, yes I did all that I set all these settings and the software still does not read the subtitles
When I drag the subtitles with SUB extension nothing happens
And when dragging the subtitles with extension IDX software pops the following message:
BS.Player can not play the media file.
You don't have necessary codec installed, file may damaged or not media file.

Click 'Find codec' to try to find codec.

So I do not know what else to do: (

In the same folder with the movie, create a folder named Subs. Inside that folder, put the IDX/SUB files you created. Now, BSPlayer should load them automatically.

Hi
Let me help you help me:)
I never ask support or help when it comes to computers
I deal with computers for many years and I quite understand them
We deal here another problem apparently
I sent you pictures by email that you can see all the settings are configured correctly
And what is probably missing some kind of encoder is not clear to me
Anyway I do not want to bother you too much about that subject
I see the movie with other software that supports these files
Thank you:)
And if someday you find a solution to the problem would be happy if inform me about it

adicoto 14th December 2011 06:36 AM

OK, seen your pictures. 3dSubtitler settings seem OK.
Making a test,be right back

OK, my mistake. For idx/sub subtitles to work, you still need to do some tricks. Make the .sub file as a .rar archive. Keep the name, don't change it. After that, make another archive containing the .idx file and the .rar file of the .sub file. Keep the same name. Now put the last archive (that contains the archived .sub and the .idx file inside the subs folder. Voila !

So, in movie folder you have to have a Subs folder. Inside that folder, a .rar archive, with the same name as the movie. Inside that .rar archive you have the .idx file and another .rar archive. Inside that archive you have the .sub file.
