smi to srt hi all, I tried to convert my smi file to srt file, so that i could play it on bsplayer. I used the subsync program from the site below http://users.pandora.be/vlad/subsync/index.htm however after i saved as .srt type, the blank pauses in between the dialogues show the following what is the problem in the conversion? thanks in advance for the help....i am newbie, hope this is not a silly question    |
is a code used in html to add a blank space [otherwise 2 spaces are seen as only one] I trust the sami subtitle format is derived from html. I guess the converter you used doesn't recognise them as special characters. a quick and easy fix is to open your srt file with the notepad and make a search and replace search: replace: (nothing) voil?•, you're done :) |
What a great      thanks a lot......one more thing i learned today apart from the smi to srt conversion :!: :!: :!: :!: |
